Truffle Plants
Wild edible mushrooms growing in a symbiotic mycorrhizal relationship with the roots of selected varieties of suitable forest plants. These plants (with truffle) must be produced according to strict nursery plant rules. The seedlings, which are obtained from seeds, cuttings and micro-propagation techniques, must be prepared in artificial soil and in a sterilised environment. Once inoculated, they are carefully monitored to ensure that plants are growing in accordance with these strict guidelines; certification is authorised by Perugia University biotechnology and vegetable biology departments.

Typical Tuscany Cypress (pyramid shape) so named from the old village in Tuscany Bolgheri suburb which was the famous poet Giosuè Carducci very fond of

Cupressus Sempervirens Agrimed1
This Cypress has wider foliage than a normal Cypress, which makes it very useful for growing facing the wind, to be used as a noise and dust barrier.

Both these Cypresses (Bolgheri and Agrimed1) are selected because they are resistant to canker, having a Patent and are certified by CNR of Florence. They are sold with an identification mark with a progressive number, different for each plant..

Grafted Juglan regia
Selected for both fruit (walnuts) and wood production, with the best varieties coming from Italy, France and California.

Poplars
A wide range of Euro-American and native Populus available for wood production and for manufacture of material used for fuel. It is also possible to select male plants which do not produce “down".
